I'm not sure what you are asking here so I'll give a couple possible answers.
a. I've used pfSense to connect to Nortel Contivities using branch office tunnels - took longer to setup on the Nortel side than the pfSense side. b. Not sure if the Contivity client software could use pfSense as a road warrior end point - I don't see why not, but I'm not sure. c. I believe pfSense could be used as the client software to connect to the Contivity, however not if you are using the client id feature on the Contivity that restricts connections to the Nortel software only. Not sure on hardware, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if boards as low powered as the new pcengines ALIX boards could do 14mbit encrypted (that's really not alot of traffic). I'll let some of the people on the list that actually run decent amounts of traffic over pfSense IPsec comment on that. --Bill On Wed, Mar 5, 2008 at 1:48 PM, Bosco <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > Hi all, > > Someone know if it is possible to use pfSense VPN (IPSec with 3DES) > instead of Nortel 1100 ? > > Any hardware recommendation to assure 14 Mbps encrypted bandwidth ? > > Thanks > > JBosco > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
