Florian,

The larger question is why you haven't upgraded to 1.2-RELEASE since its been out for several months now?

Hi,

There is a file called check_reload_status.log which seems to haven been created
at last reboot and only contains always the same log message over and
over again:

# pwd
/root

# ls -l check_reload_status.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 59290 Apr 15 02:40 check_reload_status.log

# uptime
 8:01AM up 58 days, 10:14, 1 user, load averages: 0.31, 0.28, 0.22

# head -1 check_reload_status.log
02-17-2008_at_070000 There appears to be 2 or more check_reload_status
processes. Forcing kill and restart of all now...

# tail -1 check_reload_status.log
04-15-2008_at_024000 There appears to be 2 or more check_reload_status
processes. Forcing kill and restart of all now...

# cat check_reload_status.log | wc -l
     490

# cat check_reload_status.log | grep "There appears to be 2 or more
check_reload_status processes. Forcing kill and restart of all now..." | wc -l
     490

Is that supposed to be in /root or is that just a leftover debugging
log file? Just wondering...

I'm running pfSense 1.2-RC3:

# uname -a
FreeBSD imp.local 6.2-RELEASE-p8 FreeBSD 6.2-RELEASE-p8 #0: Wed Nov 7 18:43:46
EST 2007 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/obj.pfSense/usr/src/sys/pfSense_wrap.6 i386
