I posted this a few days ago and haven't gotten any response. Am I the only one who wants to prioritize OpenVPN traffic? :-)
As mentioned, I do not wish to shape the traffic inside the OpenVPN tunnel, just the tunnel itself with respect to the other traffic on the WAN. I was hoping it would be as simple as prioritizing TCP/1194 (my tunnels use TCP..) but as noted before, my tunnels stopped working altogether and required a reboot of the unit.
