Perhaps.  We have something like 20 or 30 aliases and have never had trouble.
I set up another one yesterday and made several modification to it throughtout
the day, never had a problem.

The information you gave is a bit vague to determine much of anything.  Here's
how I use aliases.  I navigate to Firewall->Aliases and click on the little
"e".  Here I click on the "+" to add or just click in any field I wish to
change, do my thing and click "save".  I'm taken back to the aliases page.
There I click "apply" and voila'.  Instant changes.
