Hi, I've been getting some problems with the web pages on our pfSense server (version 1.2), and after some digging I found the following message in /var/log/lighttpd.error.log (repeated quite a few times):
2008-11-11 14:17:29: (network_openssl.c.154) SSL: 1 -1 error:1409F07F:SSL routines:SSL3_WRITE_PENDING:bad write retry In the lighttpd forum I found the following thread: http://redmine.lighttpd.net/issues/show/285 In short, it says there is a bug in lighttpd for ssl pages for versions up to 1.4.19 (pfsense 1.2 uses 1.4.18). I saw that 1.2.1 uses a fixed version (1.4.20), but it's not a final release. Now, considering that this is for a production server, what would be my best option? Asking for a fixed release of 1.2, or installing 1.2.1 (which is in version 1.2.1RC2-20081111-1354 at this moment, as far as I can see)?
