or a notebook drive? Do you get the power through the
44-pin IDE?
I run a standard 40G 44-pin notebook drive. Power comes through the
44-pin cable, that is why it has 4 extra pins compared to a 40-pin
desktop drive.
A standard notebook drive fits in the standard ALIX case. I attach it
to the case with double side thermal tape (3M). Pictures showing how it

pfSense with the optional packages is great! Easy to install and use.
