When I use my Windows XP VPN client behind my pfSense firewall, I am able to
connect to the VPN server and access services via TCP/IP address. However, all
DNS requests are processed by the pfSense box, preventing me from using server
names. When I connect my XP box directly to to my cable modem, DNS is properly
tunneled through the VPN connection. I've encountered this problem with
pfSense 1.2, 1.2.2, and a clean install of the 1.2.3 snapshot as of 3 days ago.
I assume the problem is a configuration mistake on my end. Anyone know what
I'm missing?
