Is that a good combination?
pfSense is an appliance type of tool. You can't separate the GUI from the rest of the application-logic. Additionally, pfSense runs on a modified FreeBSD7-base and requires "pf", the packetfilter of OpenBSD ported to FreeBSD to do most of the work. No Linux involved, thank-god. > additionally, I would like to run Ngnix on the same box to do http > caching and http load balancing. Does pfSense have a package and a GUI for NGINX? cheers, Rainer --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] Commercial support available - https://portal.pfsense.org
