I have set up a box with 4 nics. 1. LAN - not used 2. WAN - used only to monitor and config the box 3. OPTIN (bridged with OPTOUT) 4. OPTOUT (bridged with OPTIN)
I am trying to apply traffic shaping to traffic passing over the bridge. Not matter how simple a setup I try, I get errors reported. Should pfSense traffic shaping work in this configuration or am I barking up the wrong tree? If it should work, can someone point me in the right direction? Perhaps a hint as to the simplest setup possible for this situation so that I can confirm something works and build from there?
