Hello All :D Within pfSense (2.0 BETA4 here!) is it possible to define custom protocols for use with NAT and Firewall Rules. So, when adding a NAT rule for example there is a list of defined common service such as HTTP, SMTP, POP etc etc, can I add to this list? I seems silly if I have to edit hundreds of Firewall/NAT rules because I can't define a protocol?
Also, is it possible to define groups of hosts? I.e. network 192.168.0.0/24; 192.168.0.1, .5, .7 and .21 are allowed to FTP to somewhere, and 192.168.0.2, 4, and .9 are allowed DNS and HTTP to somewhere else. Do I really have to make a rule for every host? These seem like some pretty basic features to me? I have looked on the FAQ's and Wiki to try and find the answers but couldn't find them so sorry if I've missed them and created noise.... -- Regards, James. http://www.jamesbensley.co.cc/ There are 10 kinds of people in the world; Those who understand Vigesimal, and J others...? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] Commercial support available - https://portal.pfsense.org
