Hi. I am new to pidgin and gaim. Recently i was looking into using pidgin for my IM. I downloaded the latest version of pidgin from openSUSE(Novell) webpage repository for SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 in an .rpm file (pidgin-2.2.2-6.1.i586.rpm) and the libpurple to resolve dependencies (libpurple-2.2.2-6.1.i586.rpm) from the same repository by openSUSE. After I successfully installed , I went to open it (it has all the icon shortcut created for pidgin in the 'Start' program ) but the problem is nothing happened...only except the cursor just waited for a while and nothing happened (changed back to the arrow shaped cursor).
