For me the typing notification works fine.
Using v2.3.1 on Windows XP.

Hi,
I just started using Pidgin which is awesome by the way. I was
just wondering about being able to see the typing notification when
someone I am chatting with is typing. I cannot currently see
it....specifically in MSN. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
