The plugin is already installed with the pidgin-version that comes with
the upcoming Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex. I'm not sure with the version in
Hardy right now, it may be a new feature. So either you need to upgrade
to the new version, due end of the month, or you can download a newer
version of pidgin for Hardy at http://getdeb.net
