Moving Bonjour buddies out of the special group is not very well supported, as you've found. While it'd be possible to improve this (and I would accept patches that do so), the big design issue here is that Bonjour buddies are transient. A Bonjour buddy named "Bob" on one network is not necessarily the same as "Bob" on another. Contrast that with something like AIM where "Bob" is always the same user (unless he closes his account and someone else re-uses the username). Alternatively, you could run an internal XMPP server. If you really want to do IM without a server, you'll either have to live with this limitation, write patches to fix Pidgin, or use another client. Richard
