Pidgin should never hide itself from the user completely. Did you disable the tray icon or are you unaware that it exists?

I have recently played around with the pidgin settings and have set pidgin to "Always hide." So now my pidgin is hidden whenever i start it, without anyway of bringing it forward. Any ideas?
