In Pidgin 2.5.5, which is in Ubuntu 9.04, crashes when attempting to connect to a gmail.com XMPP account. What's more, since the account is enabled, Pidgin will try to connect to it when it starts, which makes it difficult to restart Pidgin, since it automatically crashes.
