The Groupwise server is using an expired SSL certificate. Pidgin 2.6.2
(which will hopefully be out soon) will change this from a fatal error to a
warning, but you will still be warned/prompted each time you connect to the
server.

You should contact the IT department and ask them to renew the (or generate
a non-expired self-signed) certificate.
