I've checked on both Win32 and Linux, Pidgin 2.6.5 AIM accounts show
the "Use Client login" checkbox on the advanced tab so I think you're
somehow not seeing it. It is right below the "Use SSL" checkbox on the
Advanced tab of the selected AIM account preferences dialog.
