Go to Pidgin's web site <www.pidgin.im> and look for any recent notices about problems with AIM. (There is a prominent one.) Also, when submitting support requests, try to summarise the problem in the subject.
(Or look at the archives for the mailing list to which you have posted, where this question accounts for every other posting!)
