Msn-pecan is a third party plugin for msn and separate from pidgin.
Go to code.google.com/p/msn-pecan and update to the newest version or
file a bug on that website.

my account WLM with pidgin, it crash with error:
pidgin[3065]: segfault at 0 ip 01aa51b0 sp bfc494e0 error 6 in

i've create a new account, MSN, and i can connect with no pb...
