I apologize for that! Here is the screen image attached. As you can see, I have the logs unselected, but they are still saving for chats that I am currently receiving. Is there a way to stop this? I don't mind deleting the old chat logs, but the new ones keep saving too.

Try this:
Tools -> Preferences -> Logging -> uncheck the three checkboxes
If that's what you mean by "Chat Logs are not selected", then you'll
have to provide more information. Keep in mind that disabling logging
stops Pidgin from writing new logs, but doesn't delete existing files;
you'll have to delete them yourself.
