On (servers on) protocols that allow you to organize your buddy list the
group information is stored on the server and you only need to do it once.
Unforunately that isn't the case for facebook using either the plugin or
the XMPP interface. The plugin cannot store that information on the server
(because that just isn't possible) and the XMPP interface does not allow
buddy list modifications.
The above being said you could simply copy the blist.xml file (or all of
.purple) from one machine to another and not need to do this every time.
