You need to go into the Advanced settings of this account and make sure
the connect server is talk.google.com.

I'm trying to get pidgin to work with google talk under these new
settings. I tried adding an account via XMPP with the domain name as
gmail.company.org <http://gmail.company.org> (the URL we use to access
our email) and I'm not able to connect. Does anyone know if there is a
