You can enable/disable logging by individual buddies by going to Options
> Enable Logging while you're in the conversation window.

i clicked on an open IM box and somehow made it so that the logging
for that buddy stopped. i tried randomly clicking all over the box,
but nothing happened. i also went into preferences, but the box for
'log all IMs' already checked.
