I've been using Trillian for my universal chat client for quite some time, but they recently implemented ads that can only be eliminated by going to their pay version, and it's an annoyance I'd rather not put up with. I'd like to change to Pidgin, but I can't seem to add buddies/contacts with Trillian accounts. I don't see anything in the FAQs about how to do this, so I thought I'd see if the community could field an answer. Thanks!
