Dear Support List, We have just started using Google Chatback to reach out to our users. When a user initiates a chat, Pidgin's message to accept the invitation pops under any windows we have open. So we often miss them before the user gives up. All other messages pop up and make a sound.
I wonder if it's because the invitation is really long. Here's the message: Accept chat invitation? z01q6amlq08uc02m3bihr9536bss65dsil4ejagabhgjkqn5fqr6i85ju8cvep30rhl4unslp3a4mali1mdjcj8m5aemaek6v2uaf5jfulvo3la1ae4j2pkpja9db4hi208gon0llnbmm968hqd4hdcg00u5brfafeutpt76def7udtfvd8mb047n4jq2oi4kvknji1oq1icbpi3vdsr2on7m7...@chatback.talk.google.com has invited [email protected]/ to the chat room z01q6amlq08uc02m3bihr9536bss65dsil4ejagabhgjkqn5fqr6i85ju8cvep30rhl4unslp3a4mali1mdjcj8m5aemaek6v2uaf5jfulvo3la1ae4j2pkpja9db4hi208gon0llnbmm968hqd4hdcg00u5brfafeutpt76def7udtfvd8mb047n4jq2oi4kvknji1oq1icbpi3vdsr2on7m7...@chatback.talk.google.com: Someone clicked on your chatback badge: Is there any way to fix this? Or does anyone have an alternative product they use to allow users to chat without a chat client. Here is the page where we have the chatback link :http://library.njit.edu/researchhelpdesk/askus.php We had been using plugoo (free version) but gave up on it because it had other errors.
