Need some more information, but please ensure you don't put anything
personally identifiable like passwords and user names.
What version of Pidgin do you have?
Before you try to connect, open the Help->Debug Window and then paste
the contents once you have tried to connect. Ensure there is no
password etc in the message you send.
We can help more once we have more information.
