I am currently using the Russian Social Networking Site vk.com <http://vk.com> which has

this functionality added to Pidgin!

I presume you don't mean functionality, but rather the ability to access the service.

Please provide a reference to a detailed technical specification of their client to server protocol, or code to implement it. Also provide details of server addresses, etc. The information in the specification needs to be in the public domain.

Note that Facebook IM can be accessed using an industry standard protocol, XMPP.

Emails are not formal business letters, whatever businesses may want.
RFC1855 says there should be an address here, but, in a world of spam,
that is no longer good advice, as archive address hiding may not work.
