I have not been using my msn messenger account for a few years.
When I was using I was using with pidgin.
It is on this email ([email protected]) which is housed on my site.
A buddy told me that my msn messenger account is hacked.
So I changed the password on my server.
Then I downloaded pidgin (I am on ubuntu). When I tried to add
the account with the new (or the old) password I am receiving the message
"Unable to authenticate".
It looks like these passwords are not checked against their respective
servers
making it quite impossible to retrieve hacked accounts.
Could you please offer a remedy?
