I can still log into the account using other providers though. Is this just a 
glitch or does it mean something else is happening? Any suggestions on what to 
do?

This also happened to me yesterday. This is something that AOL seems to be 
doing. My account has been "suspended" by them. It seems they're clearing their 
database of old accounts that were at one point tied to an actual paying AOL 
account.
