As for the error, I'm not entire sure what would cause it, but some
others from the list may know.

Pidgin will normally open up to an IRC chat page automatically when I
start my machine. Normally it will be open for a few moments and then
it will say Pidgin is no longer working and will have to be shut down.
I have a choice to check online to solve the problem or close the
program. Checking online never helps. Here is the error I received:
