We use Pidgin at work and have been trying (unsuccessfully) to setup my Google chat/talk account. I use two-factor authentication and think that may be the issue. I have entered the Application Specific password I generated for Pidgin, but no luck. I continue to get a "Unable to connect" error. Hope you can help
"Unable to connect"? If password is a problem, Pidgin would ask you again for it. Try connect without two-step - maybe this is not the reason.
