have you even LOOKED at the message you posted there? it doesn't
address the problem
The bug report was closed as it appears to be a duplicate of an existing
but report which requests logs. While this may actually be a bug, it's
worth noting that filing a bug report is not the same as pidgin support.
Despite the fact that a log already exists, it might not hurt to post
another so that the developers have more information to work with.
I can't really help with regards to the underlying issue though, I gave
up Yahoo IM years ago.
