Another recommendation is to make sure pidgin is not set to load on
startup, reboot, disable your antivirus, install and then uninstall.

If the uninstaller is crashing it is most likely caused by something other
than the nullsoft installer.  This could be several things such as
anti-malware blocking a file or registry operation, corrupt or improper
permissions in the registry, corrupt files, bad hard driver sectors, locked
or partial files, etc.  You will likely need to take corrective action on
the underlying issue before this issue will be fixed.  There are several
free tools such as CCleaner, Malwarebytes, chkdsk which can help.  If these
don't help, you may choose to Google the steps to manually uninstall an
application (with CCleaner supports as well).
