Tres – I copied the groupmsg.dll from another computer and that worked.

Thanks for your help.

@Joey,

This is almost certainly provided as a 3rd party plugin. I would assume it's
the version bundled with the "Purple Plugin Pack", however there is no obvious
download location for Windows (which I assume all of your clients use) so you
should locate groupmsg.dll on a computer that already has this installed and
copy it to the other computers. It can be found in the 32-bit Program Files
directory under Pidgin\plugins.

In the mean time if you find an official win32 mirror of this plugin, let me
know and I'd be happy to test it out.

are the plugins to choose from. In screen shot 004 you will notice the option
to group IM when you want to send a message to the whole group. Some of us do
not have that plugin or the option to group IM.

Hope that helps.

@Joey,

I'm glad that link helped. Please reply all when replying to this list.

Tres – The FAQ link helped…Thanks!

As for the plug-in for group IM. If you right click on a group to send a
message some have the option to group IM. The group IM version is 2.6.2. In
some of our plug-in options this available and other’s it is not. We are
currently using version 2.10.10.

I'm still not sure what "group IM version 2.6.2" is. Can you provide a
screenshot or a link to what this is?

If using windows, please see the FAQ link here:

This depends on a few things, namely the Pidgin version and whether this
functionality is provided via a 3rd party plugin or not. Can you give some
specifics on what you mean by "plug-in to group IM"? There are a few "group"
concepts in the software and if you can explain exactly which functionality is
missing and which versions of Pidgin are missing it, it will help.

Also is there an option for pidgin to automatically start up when the computer
starts?

I’ve looked all thru the bugs reports and FAQ’s I could not find anything to
help me.

Thanks
