BlackBerry makes THE most secure devices on the market. It violates no such privacy. If you don't want an employer knowing if you are online, don't add to, or if added, delete from, your contacts. And if you don't want to talk to them, don't pick up the phone. I assume, but have no knowledge of the telegram add-on.
