Context: Pidgin 2.10.9 installed in 64 bit Ubuntu 14.04.4 (kernel 3.16.0-50-generic #67 - Unity desktop) with following plugins:
   - purple-hangouts
   - pidgin-twitter
   - telegram-purple
   - purple-skypeweb

After a complete re-install and reconfiguration of Pidgin with Skype and Telegram, Skype and Telegram plugins seem to work flawlessly.
I have two issues:

1) Hangouts
Trying to add the account to my Pidgin instance, I select Hangouts, enter my username (BTW, I don't know whether it should be cedric.bhihe or cedric.bh...@gmail.com so I tried both) and request an oAuth2 scope token.
What I get is a *400 error* from Google with Error message:

"Invalid scope. Not authorized to request scopes:
Request Details

 * scope=https://www.google.com/accounts/OAuthLogin
 * response_type=code
 * redirect_uri=urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob
 * client_id=936475272427.apps.googleusercontent.com

"
2) Twitter
I can't seem to be able to add my twitter account. Twitter does not appear in the list of portocols available in the account management window. I did install the Pidgin-Twitter plugin and enabled it in my Plugins' list from Pidgin.

Can somebody help me troubleshoot either or both issues ?
Thank you,
-cedric
