I've not found the information I'd like to know. I suspect you are aware, but maybe not, that the free Yahoo Messenger and Aim chats have been so stripped down of features that for anyone with any type of disability, particularly visual, they are no longer universally friendly chat programs.
We are on the hunt for a free chat program that will allow us to modify it to our needs. We need to be able to use large fonts, colored text, and optional change of color backgrounds (i.e white text, black background and vice-versa). We all have visual and physical challenges, and we rely heavily on using online chats to stay in contact. Is any of this possible with your program.
