Hi Erin, It doesn't look like you've got the right settings for the account, so the server is giving you a "Not Authorized" error, which really means "Invalid username or password".
As per https://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/Protocol%20Specific%20Questions#HowdoIconfigurePidgintoconnecttoGoogleTalkformydomainhostedonGoogleApps and https://support.google.com/a/answer/49147?hl=en you'll want to set up your acocunt with Username: accounts Domain: treyone.co.uk And possibly set talk.google.com as the server address. You can also use the Hangouts plugin https://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/ThirdPartyPlugins#AdditionalProtocols to get extra functionality.
