Hi,

My name is Franz from S3 Technologies and I am assisting a user who is having trouble with her Pidgin application which keeps going inactive and preventing her from logging in.

This is on a Windows 10 Pro. Pidgin will bring her back to the login screen (where it shows her her account details) and when clicking on it to connect, it will attempt to enable before going disabled again. The configuration of her account (in Basic / advanced / proxy settings) is set correctly. The issue is intermittent but has occurrent about 3-4 times in the past couple months.

I have tried:
- uninstalling / reinstalling Pidgin
- deleting the user/appdata/roaming/.Purple folder

Both will temporarily make Pidgin load up and start working again but only for a couple weeks at a time it seems.

Are you aware of any other troubleshoot to get this fixed permanently? Is this a Win 10 compatibiltiy issue?
