We can't help you because we are Pidgin users, who do not work for Oracle, not the people who support Oracle's internal instant messaging server. Pidgin is only a client, so simply forwards passwords, etc., to the servers. Standard response for Oracle users: We are advised that people within the Oracle network can use <http://my.oracle.com/site/git/1591/index.htm> for more information; for outsiders, like us, it just redirects to the public home page.
