I plan on doing some finalization work for maven2 this weekend. Given the new enemies I've vowed to conqueror / other time constraints I'm not predicting that future proofing work is going to happen quite yet. (I will give the mapped config a try with the maven side of things very briefly but don't have much hope ) Still to do: -) Get 5.5 published on ibiblio. -) Make sure reporting is ok. -) Make sure it's compatible with svn trunk. -) Create a special test case in TestNG to cover the api that maven2 currently relies upon / touches in order to work. Be careful with ide refactorings here... -) Add in whatever new configuration options have appeared since the very first run. (listener classes / ability to control log output levels / other stuff I don't know about ) If anyone knows anything about Mojo and how I might be able to create a generic configuration map structure using it that is also backwards compatible would be a life saver.
