Location : Chicago IL Duration : 12 months Locals/ regionals as inperson interview is required The Microsoft Server Team is looking for a qualified individual to join the Applications Team. This individual will be represent MS Server as a virtual team member for business area projects. The candidate would be responsible for all facets of a project including planning, execution/installation, and support hand-off/closure. -Participate in technical reviews of new software -Work with project managers to complete tasks and initiatives -Install and configure vended applications according to platform standards -Administer privileges to applications based on platform standards -Work with application owners and vendors to resolve technical issues -Perform Disaster Recovery exercises to prove architecture recoverability -Participate in MS Server Infrastructure projects EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: The ideal candidate would have a solid technical background administering Microsoft Server environments. Proven experience with Microsoft and third-party administrative tools a must. The ability to work with technical staff and partners to troubleshoot complex server environments and situations.
