Unix / Perl Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ Length: 6 months Start: ASAP Interview: phone The candidate should have 4+ years experience in UNIX shell and PERL programming (Java a plus), development tools, and development turnover process. Expertise completing official builds and releases with a source code control tool such as ClearCase required. LINUX or Solaris System Administration experience a plus. Candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent problem solving skills, have the ability to handle changing priorities, and have excellent communication skills. This position is to join a team that builds and deploys software in a pre-defined standard environment. The candidate will become familiar with in-house and 3rd party products, build custom in-house products, and create deployment routines to configure software for multiple environments. This position will require off hour support of applications. Periodic reporting on the status of promotions in support of line of business project portfolio will be required.
