If you have any good suitable consultants, please get back to me ASAP with their resumes. *Position: Automation Engineer- 4 open positions… Minimum 8yrs experience mandatory* *Location: Philadelphia, PA* *Duration: 6 Months Contract * * * *Face to Face interview mandatory after phone interview…….so only local candidates please.* * * Summary: - Architect and design test automation frameworks in collaboration with the Testing team and Development teams in QTP & Quality Center workflow. - Design and Architect modular and reusable automated testing solutions that satisfy testing requirements. - Develop functional/regression automated testing solutions using QTP, traditional QTP framework, and/or data driven techniques. - Evaluate, plan, design, develop, and maintain test scripts using a framework for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles. - Create and execute test scripts, cases, and scenarios that will determine optimal system performance according to specifications. - Research new technologies, develop cutting-edge automation and provide product enhancements and/or recommendations when necessary. - Conduct all types of application testing as needed, such as integration, system, regression, load, and acceptance testing. - Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications. - Coordinate with software engineers to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and data processing. - Produce reports and documentation for all testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging, and tracking. - Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management. - Mentor and assist junior automation developers and test automation end users. Required Skills: - Four-year college diploma or university degree in software engineering or computer science, and/or 8 years equivalent work experience. - Experience with C/C++ advanced programming skills. - Minimum 2 years of experience with scripting, VBScript preferred. - Minimum 4 years of experience with Testing Automation using Quick Test Professional, including o Heavy VB Scripting - creation & maintenance - Must be able to create functions, use arrays and other conditions to create and modify the current code. o Parameterization o Checkpoints & Data Validation o Data driven and Keyword Testing o Descriptive Programming o Quality Center Organizational o Linking test cases to requirements - 5 years direct experience as a test engineer for major application integration and/or major application product release, with at least 2 years experience with web applications. - Working knowledge of programming languages, and relational database systems, including SQL query development. - Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures. - Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. * * Thanks & Regards, *Ram Mohan *Veda Technology Solutions Inc Phone: 609-945-2332| Fax: 609-799-2806 Email: [email protected] | www.vedats.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SureIT" group.
