FCIMT SAP FI Consultant - Job Description 1.Position:Title: SAP FI Consultant 2.Background Information: The above position is with FCIMT, the IT department for the company’s Finance Complex. The consultant will work on the feasibility study for migrating our Treasury Accounting System (TAS) to SAP. Currently, TAS supports accounting and associated processes for company’s borrowings, investments. It caters to company’s RAMP clients as well. (RAMP (Reserves Advisory & Management Program) is Treasury's capacity building program for central bank reserves management operations and other national-wealth investment institutions.) TAS is a custom-built system that is over five years old and is showing signs of obsolescence. All company ledgers other than TRE’s are currently hosted on SAP. We believe that migrating TAS into SAP will ensure that the accounting system is upgraded whenever our SAP system is upgraded and will provide users with additional functionalities that are part of the upgraded system. 3.General Accountability: The candidate should be an expert on SAP’s FI module with excellent business analysis and people skills. Scope of Work Work closely with business and IT staff assigned to the project to ·map functionalities of the current TAS system to SAP and prepare a gap analysis document. ·understand the processes and interfaces associated with the current TAS system and prepare a roadmap for providing the same if TAS were migrated to SAP. · Study the impact of migrating to SAP on other systems, business units and business process and prepare an impact analysis document. · Assess reporting requirements, especially those that draw information from multiple systems and prepare a recommendation document for report delivery. 4.Skill Set Requirements: ·8 years of relevant experience in SAP’s FI module. ·Quick to understand processes and systems ·Strong business analysis skills. 5. Selection Criteria: Technical skills as mentioned above. ·Excellent team player with superior communication skills (oral and written) ·Ability to propose creative and optimal solutions.
