Excellent communication skills are required to interface with a wide range of customers, system and business partners and offshore personnel. We require an individual that is self-motivated, has time management skills, and can work independently with minimal direction. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 3+ years of experience. The candidate will perform systems configuration, maintenance and support activities for KBR’s FileNet platform hosting mission critical imaging as the content management system for the global SAP installation. Responsibilities include implementing FileNet solutions, supporting customers in their use of the environment, providing on-call support, and writing technical documentation and procedures. The candidate must be able to succeed in a global, demanding environment. *Specific duties include:* Acts as a third level support resource to solve complex imaging and content management problems § Maintains computing environment integrity, reliability and effectiveness by monitoring, analyzing and making appropriate adjustments § Implementing and integrating new technologies into existing environment based on Architectural designs and guidelines § Ensure assigned tasks are evaluated, planned and implemented in a timely manner § Installing and configuring hardware and software – applying patches, updates and configuration changes § Manages the FileNet vendor relationship ensuring continued compliance § Develop technology-based solutions which integrate processes and products from a number of vendors into a cohesive solution to meet the needs of prospective and current customers § Ensures capacity and availability of the FileNet environment § Provides on-call, off-hours support *QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:* § Strong customer service and management skills when working with clients and internal customers § Advanced knowledge in Microsoft server operating systems, system architecture and server hardware configurations § Experience in designing, developing, and implementing document capture/storage/retrieval and workflow solutions is required § A working (hands-on) knowledge of scanning software solutions from a wide variety of vendors including Quillix, Captiva, or Kofax § A working (hands-on) knowledge of scanning/imaging hardware technologies from various manufacturers including Xerox, Ricoh, Canon, HP, and Fujitsu. § A working (hands-on) knowledge of IBM FileNet Image Manager Active Edition and IBM FileNet P8 content management applications required § In-depth knowledge of print management for a range of printing protocols including Postscript, PDF, PCL, LCDS and IPDS § Knowledge of networking protocols and topologies including LAN/WAN management, TCP/IP segmenting schemes, security techniques and remote access technologies is preferred. § The ability to write integration code in Visual Basic, C+ or Cold Fusion is preferred. Familiarity with SQL is preferred § Proven time management skills § Demonstrated organizational skills, as well as strong written, oral and presentational communication abilities in order to work with all levels of staff and next levels of management § Demonstrated ability to work in matrix team environments *Competencies:* Well organized, independent thinking: Incumbent must be process driven and use good judgment to ensure that appropriate guidance is sought and all necessary approvals are obtained before taking actions. Logical analysis/problem solving: Job requires employee to think through and solve complex problems step by step; often looking beyond the obvious solution to a problem.
