Job Title : SAP MM/APO Location : Virginia Duration : 3 years Job Description: Role SAP MM/APO Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills Position Title: Functional Lead System Consultant - Procurement Management Job Responsibilities: • Review SD processes across Verizon Wireline company and provide analysis of current process and map out suggested approach for process improvement. Suggestions to include both system architecture and design recommendations along with business process recommendadtions. • Analysis will include current SAP supported locations along with other areas supported by other internal Verizon systems (PC, PremiSys, OM+) • Visit the warehouses/garages sites to identify issues and provide business solutions • Work with Supply Chain IT functional team to document and create a presentation for executive review Job/Technical Requirements: Proven Experience in Developing Procurement Management industry processes and suggest recommendations to optimize VZ process Proven Experience in Developing Sourcing strategies using SAP (SD)system based on streamlined business scenarios across different SAP and Functional areas Experience in Operations Research & Solution optimization Awareness of the world class processes and latest technologies and business impact. Exceptional statistical analytical and quantitative skills Advanced Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Masters in Business Administration Top 5 or Less Requirements: • APO functional knowledge • Inventory Management • Proven Experience in Developing Sourcing strategies using SAP (MM & APO& SmartOps) system based on streamlined business scenarios • Experience in Operations Research & Solution optimization Years Experience in general and/or per skill: 3 - 5 years Supplier must provide laptop Desirable Technical / Functional Skills Desired Skills: Resource needs to have at least 3+ years of proven expertise in Configuration and Development of SAP SD and will work with existing Verizon resources to develop strategic plan to optimize Inventory management. Understand Verizon current functionalities and provide strategies of future landscape.
