Client, based in Smithfield, Rhode Island, has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer Java/iOS Developer to join our high performing development team. The group works in a fast paced environment with the latest technologies and is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of various customer-facing applications including Client's primary web presence, advisor.fidelity.com. Other applications include our Advisor Mobile Marketing iPad application, fund Pricing & Performance Center, and a few intranet applications. The Senior Software Engineer Developer in this role will join and work on the Smithfield agile development team. *Primary Responsibilities*: - Design and develop critical business functionality within a JEE and iOS mobile environments to help achieve milestones and deliverables based on FFAS’ internet and mobile strategies. - Adhere to, promote, and drive development and methodology best practices currently adopted by the distributed agile development team. - Contribute to all aspects of project delivery, including creating functional specifications, technical architectures, and external interfaces. - Work very closely with business partners, analysts and QA associates using an agile development methodology.
