The position requires the ability to interview key stakeholders, evaluate current business processes and business problems. The candidate must have the ability to analyze the business process and identify detailed application requirements to resolve the business problems. The position requires the ability to clearly document application requirements using NYPAs standard application requirements template so that the requirements can be then turned over to application developers for them to develop an application. This position requires intimate familiarity with telecommunications equipment, such as but not limited to, channel banks, routers, MUXs, PBX, and their constituent parts such as cards, slots, channels and ports etc. The candidate must also be familiar with telecommunications circuitry, circuit types and how circuits connect to the aforementioned equipment types. Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills are a must. The position requires the ability to work well with information technology professional of various disciplines. Candidate must also know at minimum, how to read logical and physical data models. Knowledge of CA Technologies ERWin Data Modeler is preferred.
